The new Atomos Ninja Ultra retains the same factor so that its predecessors and is compatible with most Atomos monitor accessories for easy integration with your pre-existing equipment.

The new AtomOS 11 operating system created for the new Ninja and Ninja Ultra, presents a series of excellent new features. The tools are more visible, the icons have been improved to know exactly what you're selecting. It's easier to use, more logical and professional.

Exposure system The Zone and the false color for ARRI cameras
AtomOS 11 provides a colored display ARRI and EL Zone recognized in the industry as a selectable alternative to the fake Atomos color. This allows Atomos monitors to show a consistent colored exposure with multiple monitors in the production process. The Zone is designed for camera operators. Coloring the exhibition in stops so you can see exactly the real dynamic range referred to the scene directly from the camera, which is ideal for evaluating the exposure of HDR and SDR production.

RemoteView. Requires Atomos CONNECT
Atomos RemoteView lets you share what's on your Atomos screen with other Atomos monitors, as well as iPads, Mac and Apple TV wirelessly. You can monitor what happens on the set and look through any connected camera that is taking the picture from anywhere in the world.

NDI HD and 4K TX
Payment option. It requires Atomos Connect.
NDI is a way to send video through normal networks (including Wi-Fi and mobile) in high quality, but with significantly low bandwidth requirements. It is increasingly used in live productions and now Ninja Ultra can participate in NDI environments. The NDI TX option converts Ninja ULTRA with Atomos Connect into an NDI source, visible for all other devices authorized on the network.
Optional module Atomos CONNECT
The new Ninja is compatible with the Atomos CONNECT module available separately to access cloud workflows such as C2C, Atomos Edit and Atomos RemoteView through Atomos Cloud Studio. The CONNECT module adds 12G-SDI connectivity, time code and wireless control AirGlu, Wi-Fi 6 and GigE Ethernet to the monitor interface. This allows you to send video signals to live streaming platforms, through NDI and custom RTMP/S destinations. You can also convert HDMI to SDI and SDI to HDMI via the CONNECT module.

The 5.2" IPS touch screen of the new Ninja Atomos offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a brightness of 1000 cd/m2 to see it in full daylight. The 10-bit color processing, the Rec.709 color range and Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration compatibility ensure accurate and high-quality monitoring of your recordings.
Recording SSD
The Ninja is compatible with the Atomos Master Caddy II and 2.5" Master Caddy III hard drives that support direct recording on the drives. You can also record on AtomX SSDmini compact units and CFAST II cards using a separate adapter.
Time-Lapse
Set the recording at intervals and count it from your Ninja, independent of your camera controls. Use the Ninja display for precise visual alignment and removable storage for longer projects.
Filled with functions, even more versatile
You can match the new Ninja, faster, with a wide range of DSLR cameras, without mirror or video. Choose from a selection of industry standard recording formats, including Apple ProRes. Choose the best frame size, frame rate and codec for your project and delivery requirements. Ninja also allows you to record HDMI RAW inputs up to 6K to 30 fps while simultaneously transmitting standard YCC video via HDMI to non- RAW-compatible devices.
Monitoring tools
Ninja includes comprehensive monitoring tools to help you get the perfect composition and exposure in every shot. Powerful, yet easy-to-use tools include waveform, focus peaks, false color, zoom controls, custom LUTs and frame guides. Ninja's new AtomOS 11 software is easy to update with new features, as well as compatibility with new cameras.

The new Ninja combines equally well with smaller cameras as part of a minimal configuration or larger camera equipment or large scale productions.
Ninja is made of precision materials, carefully crafted for maximum durability. With a weight of only 360 g (0.79 pounds), you can use it comfortably with a portable camera. Ninja includes anti-rotation ?: 16 assembly points at the top and bottom. It is shipped with a 1?4 – 20 adapter for easy mounting on standard equipment of a wide range of manufacturers.

Perform smart film shots and save time in postproduction with the powerful Onion Skin and Frame series integrated features. Onion skin overlap simplifies stop-motion cuts and jumps or combinations. The capture of live frames on the set saves time by creating miniatures and acts as a quick reference to share with the team.
Connectivity and ports
It incorporates a range of ports for powerful Atomos accessories. Among these, Atomos Connect offers wireless cloud connectivity and much more, while AtomX Cast offers multi-camera switching for live events and transmission.
Connect. Control. Set up. Create.
The AtomRemote app for iOS and macOS has a variety of controls for Ninja through Atomos Connect. It allows you to configure and control Atomos Ninja from a distance up to 15 meters through Bluetooth LE while you define the camera connections, select Gamma/EOTF and adjust the Gamut configuration. AtomRemote can control playback, select monitoring modes, apply custom 3D LUT and view image analysis tools, including exposure and focus. Exit controls include 4K to HD options, LUT preview and HDR output.
