sensor design
full frame with dual ISO technology
The newly designed full frame CMOS sensor and 24.2 megapixels
of the LUMIX S1H presents
dual native ISO technology. The sensor
image can use a dual base ISO setting, which gives rise to a
minimized noise and exceptional image quality with a level of
sensitivity from low to high. This function is combined with the Venus engine
Engine to offer the highest level of ISO 51200/ISO 204800 expanded
to get the minimum noise with high sensitivity and a beautiful
expression of the dark areas in the frame. Also, a filter
low step effectively minimizes patterns with moiré effect.

Thanks to its full range of recording modes, the LUMIX S1H covers
all industries, from film to broadcasting
TV. In addition to C4K/4K 60p/50p* 4:2:0 formats
10 bits and C4K/4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 of 10 bits,
camera recently offers 6K/24p 4:2:0 10-bit format
in 3:2 and 5.9K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:0 of 10 bits in 16:9. Also
anamorphic mode is available in 4K. Reproduction, flexibility and
ultra high image quality: the LUMIX S1H is ready to perform the
demanding shots from today's world.

Thanks to an incredibly rich color profile, you can record videos
C4K/4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 of 10 bits in the camera. When
set for 10-bit recording, the camera offers a
HDMI output 4:2:2 of 10 bits, allowing a capture
high quality image with an external recorder. Information of the
format 4:2:2 of 10 bits is approximately 128
times higher than output 4:2:0 of 8 bits and can
reproduce more than a billion colors. This massive volume of
color information is very valuable for postproduction, which
allows to adjust the color dynamically and radically and even
turn scenes with daylight into night situations. The use of
expressive potential of a full frame camera can carry
videos in 4K to new and exciting places.

dynamic range stops
It offers compatibility with the Cinema VariCam aspect, more than
14 dynamic range stops and a very wide spectrum
color, besides having pre-installed V-Log and V-Gamut technology. Them
users will enjoy a color reproduction incredibly
precise, subtle gradations of dark areas to illuminated areas, and
precise control of color data in postproduction. The result
final is a more creative and satisfying color reproduction.
In addition, the images recorded with the LUMIX S1H can be edited without
problems with images recorded with VariCam cameras. By way

Camera monitor. The LUMIX S1H V-Log technology offers more than
14 dynamic range stops covering the PQ requirement
high dynamic range (HDR), while V-Gamut technology covers
all color spectrum HDR, allowing users to access

The first
fan on a camera

For the first time in an individual lens digital camera without mirror
full frame* LUMIX S1H incorporate
a fan like
standard equipment, a function that is normally found in cameras
professionals. The fan is part of a structure
recently developed heat distribution that supports the
unlimited video recording. Dust and dust resistant design
splashes**, low vibrations for a minimal effect on the
Image Stabilization System and Ultrasilination Performance
are other functions that complement this new structure.
The fan can be used with four different settings. For
example, AUTO1 starts the fan right after starting the
shot to keep the heat at a low level and facilitate more shooting
long. AUTO2 prioritizes silent performance and maintains deactivation
the fan as long as possible.
