The Panapod elevation can be easily controlled from the Panasonic RP remote panels using the joystick, in a fully integrated operation through the network. Lift values can be saved as presets and recovered at any time. Also, the Panapod can be controlled with a pair of pedals or from a top controller, so that the operator can choose the most appropriate method of operation in each situation. To use the Panapod no specific PC or software is required.

Two lifting units can be combined to achieve a total maximum height of 3 meters, allowing the camera to be placed at the farthest end of the room, far above the heads of the viewers.

The Panapod is stored in a single transport case with foam protectors, which allows excellent visibility of the components and easy access for quick assembly and disassembly. The suitcase also includes space for a second lift unit.

The Panapod can be installed in a matter of minutes, including the PTZ camera, which is mounted with a fast opening plate. In addition, the Panapod can be mounted on wheels to achieve maximum mobility. Thanks to its high payload, the Panapod can be used to elevate other components in addition to a PTZ camera. While a simple unit holds up to 35 kg, a double unit can hold up to 25 kg. With the optional T bar, up to three additional cameras can be mounted on the same unit, simplifying the wiring and configuration. The T bar option is ideal for shooting with several cameras when space is limited, and can be used with one or two-legged systems. Camera supports can also be placed backwards. In addition, the T bar can be stored in the same transport box as the Panapod.

Occasionally, and thanks to its useful load, the Panapod can be used to elevate other devices besides the PTZ cameras, such as study cameras, a turning and tilt mechanism, speakers or flat screens.
