The ?7C takes advantage of the same advances in AF as the acclaimed ?9, with exclusive 4D FOCUS for fast fixing and constant monitoring by a wide area. A total of 693 AF points with phase detection cover approximately 93% of the area.

To better capture moving subjects, the A7C shoots in continuous bursts of up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking, and up to 8 fps in Live View mode. It also allows silent capture to a maximum of 10 fps with AF/AE tracking.
