SONY HDC-P31
Compact POV HD studio camera with improved remote features and advanced HDR workflows.
The HDC-P31 can be mounted in hard-to-reach locations or used on cranes, rails or robotic systems. It incorporates a 2/3-inch CMOS 3 sensor system with global shutter to improve optical performance and provide high sensitivity and low noise levels. Also, the camera has been designed as an integral part of the Sony HDC series ecosystem to create the same impressive images, but ensuring a uniform workflow in a smaller POV format.

IP compatible camera control unit.
The HDCU-3100 camera control unit adds IP functions to the entire range of study and transmission system cameras, whether HDC-4300, HDC-3000/2000/1700 or HSC fiber system cameras. By connecting it to the fiber-optic cameras it supplies energy to the camera, it performs signal processing and serves as an interface for the external equipment.
In combination with the optional HKCU-SFP30 card, designed for multimedia transfer using the SMPTE ST 2110 managed IP network set, the HDCU-3100 camera control unit provides essential functions for live IP production, including Tally, intercom and video return.
If the optional 4K/HDR HKCU-UHD30 processor card is installed, the HDCU-3100 drive can emit 4K signals by connecting it to a HDC series system camera. In addition, if the optional 12G-SDI HKCU-SDI30 interface kit is added, 4K signals can be transmitted through a single BNC cable.
